Iron Mike Zambidis at FLOGA
Mike Zambidis visited "Aglaia Kiriakou" children's Hospital, after accepting the call of the "FLOGA" NGO that is an organization of parents that have children with cancer. The visit was arranged after the desire of some young admirers that wished to meet Iron Mike in person.
The Greek Kickboxing Champion, known for his sensitivity in similar cases, responded directly at the children's call and visited the Oncology Department of the hospital. Young Antonis was involved with kickboxing himself before he got ill and shined with happiness when he saw his idol next to him. He confessed his future dream, to stand inside the ring at some point with Zambidis and Iron Mike promised to make it real when Zambidis Club will open, making his 15 years old admirer even more excited.
Later, he was toured by FLOGA's representatives to FLOGA's children house, and met with the rest of the children and their parents, having the chance to talk with them, take pictures and sign autographs. At the end his visit, and after arranging it with FLOGA's deputies, he invited all the children at his gym for an exclusive and special training, on January that is expected to operate.
For those special moments that he had, Iron Mike stated: "It is very important, when you have the chance, to give joy and hope to people who need it, especially when they are young children. Thus, without any hesitation and with great joy I accepted the invitation and visited those little angels that give their own fight. I would like to congratulate the deputies of FLOGA, the parents and the parents and the children for their daily battle and to thank them for the honor they made to me by inviting me here to spend some time with them and get to know them. They are true fighters and their efforts give should be a great example for all of us."
