Iron Mike Zambidis at Hero Legends
Iron Mike Zambidis claims the International Golden Belt of Hero Legends on January 3rd in China!
The year will start dynamically for the Greek World Champion Iron Mike Zambidis, while he claims the World Golden Belt in the 70kg category, at one of the most important events in China, the Hero Legends.
Iron Mike Zambidis will fight on Friday 3rd of January in Jinan, against the Chinese fighter Xu Yan, aiming to conquere the International Golden Belt of the event!
Iron Mike's Zambidis opponent, Xu Yan, is a very strong athlete that started his career fighting with Sanshou style while later on continued with the Japanese fighting style of K-1.
He has faced very hard and difficult opponents gaining great experience and has also participated in K-1, against very important fighters like Yasuhiro Kido, Nagashima, Roqueni and many others, while he has won five times the event of Legends of Heroes! His track record includes 47 fights, with 36 wins of which 16 were won with a KO! The fight between Iron Mike and Xu Yan is long awaited, as it involves two very popular athletes, especially in China.
At the event of Hero Legends except from Iron Mike and his opponent Xu Yan, other national stars of kick boxing will be taking part, such as Ukrainian Artur Kyshenko, Thailand's Yodsanklai Fairtex, Canadian/Jamaican Simon Marcus but also Japanese Founder of Shaolin schools in Great Britain and monk, Shi Yanzi. All these are promising tough fights that will be breathe taking!
The event Hero Legends is supported by the Chinese government and the International Centre of Culture and Communication, and will be broadcasted live from the biggest TV channel of the country, CCTV-5.
